Say hello to Hearts of Gold
This was one of three branding concepts I created for an illustration project for the mental health company, MYNDUP. This was a self started project that I suggested to the wider team as at the time our brand wasn't particularly engaging or suited to a mental health company. By creating a cohesive visual identity our brand would become more memorable to potential clients and stand out against MYNDUP's competitor!

The concept Hearts of Gold was inspired by 90’s cartoon graphics, this illustration style is bold and unconventional. The aim was to design something that made stand our against our competitors.
For this concept I wanted to use a singular mascot that represented MYNDUP. This gave me the idea to revolve the character around MYNDUP's emblem which is a heart shaped P.
Web design
Whilst creating this concept I also mocked up how the illustration style would be used on our website and how it would interact with other elements

Blog graphics:
MYNDUP also release educational blogs which the design team would create graphics for that relate to the topic. Before I started this project the graphic style wasn't consistent so I planned to redesign the blogs in the new illustration style once it was signed off.

Below is an example of how this would look in the Hearts of Gold illustration style

Stylised icons
In addition, I designed pictograms inspired by the same of the characters hands. By doing this you create a cohesive illustration style that is recognisable across multiple platforms.

Mockups:
I also, created billboard mockups to showcase the design and how we can use the new visual identity to advertise MYNDUP's brand.
